Good prop choices for the GT2215/12 include the APC 10x4.7SF for best all around performance, the APC 11x3.8SF for maximum 3D performance, and the APC 10x7E for higher speed sport models.
We suggest using a 3 cell Lipo battery that is rated for about a 30 amp continuous discharge (or more), such as an 11.1v 1000 30C to 11.1v 2200 30C.
We recommend using a 20A to 35A Electronic Speed Control (ESC) with this motor.
The GT2215/12 comes with 3.5mm male connectors installed, and female connectors are included for your ESC.
MOUNTING OPTIONS: The GT2215/12 can be mounted in front of a firewall using the included X mount and rotor end prop adapter. It can also be mounted behind a firewall using the included 4mm prop adapter to mount a prop on the motor shaft.
